Zuckermann after Taskin
This Zuckermann harpsichord based on Taskin 1769 suffered from severe case-distortions: cheek disease, a raised cheek, and a raised wrestplank! The liners on which the wrestplank was bolted down gave way, and were replaced by sturdy oak liners, which were glued with added lamellos. Once all had been reassembled, it was restrung in Rose-wire. The back-pinning was removed, plugged, and done again, properly this time. After necessary regulation, all was in order again.
